About MercyWorks of the Lakelands

MercyWorks of the Lakelands is a qualified tax-exempt charity committed to following Christ’s Great Commission to make disciples of all. We seek to secure shelter, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and fill many other gaps for residents and organizations of the Tri-County area.

Aid to Individuals

MercyWorks of the Lakelands exists to aid individuals and families in economic crisis to cover immediate, non-recurring needs. We are not a source of continuing financial aid, though we may be able to refer someone in need to suitable funding sources.

Aid to Organizations

Additionally, we know that area churches, community centers, health clinics, and schools often need funding to expand their work and to improve the lives of those they serve. If you represent an organization that provides direct aid to disadvantaged people, we would like to help you, too.

Aid to Homeschooling Families

MercyWorks understands the difficulties homeschooling parents face these days. We are committed to helping these efforts. Please contact us if we can be of assistance.

What we would like to do is change the world – make it a little simpler for people to feed, clothe, and shelter themselves as God intended for them to do…. We can throw our pebble in the pond and be confident that its ever widening circle will reach around the world. We repeat, there is nothing that we can do but love, and, dear God, please enlarge our hearts to love each other, to love our neighbor, to love our enemy as well as our friend.
